I wrote this book because I wish it had existed when I first began learning to underwrite multifamily acquisitions and building my own underwriting model. Additionally, over the last few years, many people have reached out to me asking for the best resources to learn the nuances of underwriting as well as how to build an underwriting model from scratch themselves.

I struggled to provide strong recommendations. While I learned from experience and wide-ranging research, there were few resources that I could confidently suggest. Instead, I invited them to read my articles on the subject in the meantime, and to stay tuned for an upcoming book from yours truly. I’m excited to finally share this book with you and to finally deliver a resource for those seeking a firmer grasp of the numbers that drive projected returns in multifamily investments.
